Charter Building is a founding member of Build Green New Mexico, a voluntary program of the Central New Mexico Home Builders Association, which promotes green building technologies. Green Building is not new to Charter. As a member of Building America, we have expanded our focus to all aspects of homebuilding, from the site development to the full lifecycle of the home, to provide sustainable housing. Build Green New Mexico views the site, home, and community as a system and then looks at the environmental impact that home has today and will have in the future. It brings together all segments of the housing industry: designers, builders, developers, financial institutions, material suppliers, and equipment manufacturers. Through communication and analysis, problems are identified and solutions are developed. To learn more about the Build Green New Mexico Program visit www.buildgreennm.org.
